VHA Partnerships
VHA's partnerships utilize coordinated efforts to increase Veterans' access to quality health care, wherever they are. Here are a few of the partnerships HAP supports:

American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP)
VA and ACEP partner to educate community emergency medicine clinicians about Veteran-specific conditions and care needs.

American Kidney Fund (AKF)
VA and AKF partner to increase awareness of the risk factors, causes, complications, and treatments of kidney disease and its associated conditions.

Arthritis Foundation (AF)
VHA partners with AF to increase access to care, education, and support for Veterans diagnosed with arthritis.

Connected Warriors
VA partners with Connected Warriors to provide trauma-conscious yoga to promote relaxation, healing, and an enhanced sense of well-being for service members, Veterans, and their families.

Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation (CCF)
VHA partners with CCF to raise awareness of Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis and improve Veterans’ quality of life.

Expiration Term of Service Sponsorship Program (ETS-SP)
VHA partners with ETS-SP to provide better support to Service members and Veterans as they integrate into civilian life.

GO2 Foundation
VHA and GO2 Foundation are working together to increase awareness of the importance of lung cancer screening for Veterans at high risk for the disease.

Global Liver Institute (GLI)
VA partners with GLI to increase Veteran awareness about liver disease, increase health care engagement of Veterans with liver disease, and ensure equitable access to information and care for Veterans from disadvantaged or underserved communities.

Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing
VHA partners with Johns Hopkins University to provide support to Veterans, their partners, and VA staff who may be impacted by IPV.

MAZON: A Jewish response to hunger
VHA partners with MAZON to raise awareness about food insecurity risks and options to address them through outreach to Veterans.

VHA partners with OnStar to support Veterans in crisis and increase suicide prevention services.

Parkinson’s Foundation
VHA partners with the Parkinson’s Foundation to increase access to Parkinson’s disease information and resources for Veterans and healthcare providers.

VHA partners with Pet Partners to bring Veteran patients the benefits of the human-animal bond.

Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA)
VA partners with PVA to address the changing needs of Veterans with SCI/D throughout their lives. -
National Veterans Wheelchair Games
National Veterans Wheelchair Games are co-presented yearly by VA and Paralyzed Veterans of America.

Rockefeller Foundation
VA partners with the Rockefeller Foundation to promote healthy eating habits and improve health outcomes for Veterans. -
Salesforce Military
VHA and Salesforce have developed a partnership to support Veterans and military service members who are transitioning out of active duty and into the civilian workforce.

U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA)
VA and the USDA partner to improve food security, access to nutritious diets, and healthful nutrition education for Veterans.

White Ribbon USA and the National Association of Social Workers (NASW)
VA partners with White Ribbon USA and the NASW to promote White Ribbon VA under the Stand Up to Stop Harassment Now Campaign. White Ribbon USA, NASW, and VA have the shared goal of taking an active stand in ending sexual harassment, sexual assault, and domestic violence.
